The question that runs
What am I paying every month without noticing? Read these statements, find everything that repeats, and put what you find in a document I can read.
It goes in exactly as written — no steps, no method, nothing telling it where to look. Finding what repeats is its job, not yours.

The run we published was the card machine
This question hasn’t been run in public yet. The one that has was a payment terminal: 24 monthly statements, a signed contract, and a till journal, dropped in a folder with no hint of where to look. Same app, same question in, same document out — only the pile of paper differs.
The business in it is invented, and its statements were built so the answer could be checked against the truth. Everything else is real: real files in a real folder, read by the app on a Mac, with nothing said about where to look or what to find. There are no customers to quote here yet. When there are, they will speak for themselves.

What to bring
Your bank or card statements — a year is enough. Your bank can export them as PDF or CSV.
Personal or business, both work. If the export offers a date range, take the widest one you have the patience for: the charges worth finding are the ones that have been running the longest.
What happens then
- You show it where the documents are. A folder on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded to us, and there is no account to make.
- It reads them, and you watch it work. The published run took 14 minutes 52 seconds and that time is visible, on purpose. It is reading every line of every statement, which is the part nobody does by hand.
- You get a document. A page that opens in your browser: what repeats, what it costs you a year, and which file each figure came from. Print it, or save it as PDF with ⌘P.
Your files stay on your Mac and we never see them. Claude reads them, and what it reads goes to Anthropic to be processed — exactly as it would in a terminal with no app of ours in between. The long version is in the privacy policy.
Same question. Your statements.
